Art therapy is art-making plus talk therapy that can quickly help people identify and deal with core issues. It can facilitate thoughts and feelings not expressible in words. Creating art-work makes visible that which is within the heart, mind and soul bringing it to conscious awareness in a very concrete way. The dialogue then provides further relationship with the art piece opening up the possibility of a deeper understanding of oneself and ones’ world.
Come and join us on Monday and Thursday nights for a Mindfulness Nature Walk starting at 5pm. We will get out and enjoy the spring season. Weather permitting. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and proper footwear for walking and bringing water. We will meet at The Bear Clinic and explore our community. All levels welcome
